"Hello Everybody, Aidan Robinson here!
It was when I was at Warwick University that I first encountered the benefit of Chiropractic Care. Having suffered with low back pain since I was thirteen, I was unaware of treatments available for it. One day a very good friend of mine called Tim McCarragher, recommended that I see a Chiropractor (I thought that they treated feet!) I received my first session of treatment when I was twenty two, and over the course of six treatments my symptoms resolved. (Since then, I have been receiving regular care that allows me to do everything free of pain and worry!) I was so happy that I decided there and then to change my direction completely and looked at becoming a chiropractor. Thanks to the help of my family I was able to attend the finest Chiropractic College in Europe, (the Anglo European College of Chiropractic AECC) in Bournemouth. After 5 years of very hard study I moved to Doncaster and worked for 4 years at Thorne Road Chiropractic Clinic. Whilst there, Yara and I decided to open up what we consider to be the best in Healthcare services in this area. We have been opened since October 2005 and I can say that I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have been very lucky to have had an excellent group of patients who have always been very supportive of what I have done and it has been my pleasure to treat all of you since moving to this area. To that end we aim to recruit the best chiropractors who will maintain and build on the excellent reputation that I have built here at ITRM.
It was a Chiropractor that discovered that I have mild Spina Bifida and that is why ITRM has decided to support the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalous (ASBAH) with various charity events."

"
I moved from Spain to the UK in 1995, to carry out my further and higher education. Whilst studying for my Film and Animation Production degree at Bournemouth University in 2001, I met Aidan Robinson at his local Jiu Jitsu Club.
My life was transformed by chiropractic in such a way that, when Aidan approached me to become business partners in September 2004, I decided to take a hiatus from my filmmaking career to set up ITRM Chiropractic Clinic.
Chiropractic care gave me my life back. When I was a very young athlete I started getting excruciating back spasms that would last for days on end. I was told by doctors that I had to stop all physical activity, ending my chances to become a professional ballerina. I gained a lot of weight and my life became very miserable without the chance to do all my favourite sports. Since meeting Aidan and starting chiropractic care, I have been able to get back out there, enjoy myself, start training again, and little by little regain my previous physique. I now have the opportunity to give something back and drive the message forward about the wonders of chiropractic."
"My name is Victoria Brooks and I hail from the beautiful coastal town of Swansea, in South Wales, and went to Chiropractic school in the valleys of Rhondda, just north of Cardiff. As I am Welsh, I have a keen passion for rugby and have been lucky enough to build a close link with the Thornensians RFU. I have helped not only with recovery from injuries but advised many of the players on ways to prevent injuries.
Even when I was small I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, and did a lot of work experience in preparation to join medical school. After about a week I was beginning to lose interest and getting frustrated with the way that healthcare was progressing. More and more people were taking drugs to mask their symptoms without really addressing the underlying problem. I did however enjoy the radiology and the hands on aspects of care. I first sought chiropractic care following a particularly nasty car accident way back when. I had been taken to hospital and been x-rayed, then given strong painkillers and sent home. After a few days of being unable to move my shoulder my mother took me off to her chiropractor. After the first treatment I could move my shoulder and felt better immediately. I dread to think where I would be now without chiropractic intervention. After researching chiropractic thoroughly, I soon realised that it had all the aspects of medicine that I enjoyed, and was still a growing and changing profession. Since then, I studied for five years and graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.
I’m still as passionate about this great profession as I was back then and see this passion in Aidan Robinson and his colleagues. Everyday I look forward to working with my team and taking the profession to new levels, and spreading the chiropractic word."

"Hello, my name is Gerard Haughey, hailing originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland. I made the decision to go to the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in South Wales. Obviously deciding to leave my friends and family to go to Chiropractic college was a big decision. This decision was made a lot easier by knowing just what Chiropractic could achieve! When I was eleven I injured my back at school, after a few days my Dad decided to take me to the Chiropractor. Despite being a bit nervous in the waiting room, once I’d met the Chiropractor I was at ease and the effect of the treatment for me was excellent. It wasn’t until later that I looked back and started thinking ‘how did that work?’, and it was then that I started looking more into Chiropractic and decided to study to become a Chiropractor.
Since then I’ve developed my interest in how the body works and turned it into how can I make it work at its optimum! To me this is what Chiropractic is about, not just relieving symptoms (like pain), but keeping our bodies at their best and that’s where Chiropractic stands out!
Being a Chiropractor has allowed me to realise how we can help such a wide range of complaints in people of all ages. It’s this ability to treat and interact with such a broad range of people that really makes every day that bit different and potentially challenging.
One thing I truly appreciate is how an effective team can play such a big role in patient care so I’m really looking forward to being a part of the ITRM team, as everyone within the clinic is really geared to help the patients."

Jayne Temperton
Patient Liaison
Jayne is our senior front desk team member who joined us in July 2006.
Married with three daughters (growing up quickly), Jayne was looking for something interesting to become involved in.
Then along came the opportunity to learn about and experience Chiropractic.
"Just in the short time I have been here, so many people have shared their experiences with me, which I can only describe as fascinating. ITRM Chiropractic Clinic focuses on team work, and long may they continue to help our community".
"I started to be a patient at ITRM about 2 years ago having suffered with back pain and headaches most of my adult life. I tried all different treatments to no avail so I came to the conclusion I would have to live with the pain. Then someone at work mentioned chiropractic treatment so I looked on the internet and found ITRM. I gave them a ring and booked in to see Vicky Brooks.
I can honestly say it has changed my life, they actually sit and listen to you and make you so welcome and relaxed, plus I am able to lead a normal life without the headaches.
So when I was offered the job of working here on front desk I jumped at the chance and in just a short time I have met so many people whose lives have been changed with chiropractic care.
It is an amazing team to work for and I enjoy coming into work and meeting so many people who feel the same that here at ITRM you are treated as a person and not a number ."
